ORA-CLE NINETEENTH EDITION

It’s been a very quiet few months on the policy front, with not much happening at Westminster, and the government seemingly fixated on getting rid of Boris, and then fixated on finding his replacement Liz Truss, to the detriment of moving anything meaningful forward during that time. I keep a close eye on government consultation papers to check if anything has been published which might have relevance to ORA members, and whilst several consultations we have flagged up have recently closed, nothing new has taken their place. The term ‘Zombie Government’ has been coined for what’s been happening at Westminster, and it seems that’s not far wrong ! However, in the last week or so we are now starting to see government getting back in the driving seat, and some of those more recent important policy decisions are included for information in this edition.
